Came here for a festival, which was great. I loved the location beside the river. We stayed in our own tent.

A big thank you to the owners who were very helpful in accommodating our last minute request for 2 pitches together. Facilities on site were lovely and clean and felt very homely. Loved the honesty shop, plenty of useful essentials that often get forgotten and lots of goodies. Beautiful location with a nice walk along the river. Good play areas if you're bringing children and a nice adults only area. A great short stay and will hopefully be back in the future.

We stayed at Mains Farm in a campervan and a friend in thier tent. We had the most wonderful pitch looking down over the river. It was a peaceful, calm and clean campsite. The owners are so friendly and accommodating and always around if you need them but not intrusive in anyway. Robert has some great knowledge of the area and stories we just felt at home. The neighbours were great too, we had enough space as well. Being in such a beautiful space around amazing people that just bring posativity is so refreshing. This is the best campsite I have stayed in and am already looking to find a way to come back and I'm still on my way home. Thank you Robert & Julie.

Great location, great owners and great facilities. Family friendly and dog friendly, if you want a peaceful pitch at the weekend then I know that Robert and Julie will sort you out. Fantastic place in our opinion.

A fab site in a great spot run by a lovely couple! We met family here for the weekend as it’s a halfway point between the Highlands and the South West and we had a a great weekend! Big spacious pitches, good facilities with a little on site shop and lots of walks around. The Featherston Arms in Kirkoswald is a great little pub to walk to! Only suggestion would be to have some cleaning products in the private bathrooms or a quick daily wipe over - but only a minor detail that didn’t affect our stay. We will definitely be back!!

Fantastic site run by a lovely couple. Will definitely be our family meet up site in the future as its half way from us in the Highlands and family down in the south west. Great pub (the Featherstone arms) in the village.

We had a great 3 night stay at Mains Farm in our caravan. The owners are really friendly and helpful. The facilities are spotless and we had them all to ourselves! Well maintained field. Quiet site. Thanks, Julie and Robert Liz and Chris

My partner and I went camping here, our first time camping in the UK and traveling by cycle. We had the loveliest experience and a fabulous time. The farm is stunning, Robert and Julie were so kind and the facilities were perfect. 100% recommend and 100% will return.

Absolutely amazing campsite the showers and toilets very clean with microwave, fridge and sinks available and lovely couple that own it. We got there quite late with it raining and not looking like stopping, so Julie (owner) very kindly said we could have 2 tee pees for the night free of charge as we would have got soaked to the bone putting up our 6 man tent, would of been a nightmare with 4 kids and another 3 people on there way. So a massive thanks to Julie for her very kind hospitality. See you again soon 😁 5 stars and more.

Really nice place. Great pitch great views. Amenities very clean and worked well. Not much to do in the immediate vicinity but we took books, children and beer. That was enough to do for 4 days. Take your walking boots and chill out. Would certainly recommend and we will re book.
